The "Reading Room" of the Sombor Library is a marvel of eclectic Austro-Hungarian classical architecture, built in 1882, and one never tires of looking at it, highlighted by its dominant pale orange color. The building was constructed in 1877.
Today, there are more than 300,000 documents, including a collection of 309 rare books. The oldest, Acts Bozidar Vukovic, was printed in Venice in 1538! It is a real complex with a café.
