In 1997, the Balkan Express cafe was built on a lawn next to the Novi Sad University. After only a few years, it has become a cult place in the city, where people spend meals accompanied by young students and tamburitza players. After every exam and birthday, the locals come here to enjoy with friends and family. Today, it continues to offer a relaxed atmosphere in its yellow and brown communist room, a menu of extensive traditional dishes with gargantuan portions.
