On this side of the Danube, it is the best and most famous restaurant, and it is the pride of the inhabitants. It is a real institution that serves excellent fish specialties (which we highly recommend). Locals will often tell you that Aqua Doria is upscale and, while it does indeed cater to couples and wedding receptions, it is far from being a high-class place. It is a panoramic restaurant on the Danube but, being placed on the same bank as the fortress, it misses the most beautiful scenery.
