The Danube Park (or Dunavski Park) is very popular with the inhabitants of Novi Sad. Located between the old town and the Petrovaradin fortress, overlooking the Varadinski bridge and surrounded by the main ministries and offices of the Vojvodina government, this park is the real center of Novi Sad. Despite its central location, the park offers a very quiet and healthy break. The park is well laid out with well-developed water features and a very pleasant English layout. The museum of Vojvodina allows access to it (free museum on Sundays)
