MARCHÉ FERMIER

Adjacent to the pedestrian area of the city center, this is one of the most popular places in Novi Sad, and with good reason! You can find just about anything, from fruits and vegetables to local meats and sweets and clothes (sometimes all on one stand). The market is still very typical, as Serbs still like to buy directly from the dealers and farmers, and there are many local fruits and vegetables, mostly organic. Of course, a few hours before closing time, the stalls thin out. A fascinating place.
