CITY HALL
The current town hall is an amazing building that is the symbol of the city. Built in 1860 by a German engineer from Temesvar, this red and white palace, surmounted in one corner by a very Venetian dome, is in the purest neo-Gothic style, standing out from the more traditional German buildings, painted in their characteristic pale color. Its façade continues to attract onlookers. At the back of the building, there is a superb little café, Izlog Pub and Caffe, as well as the offices of the city's tourist office.
