Across from the city hall, a larger neo-Renaissance building built in 1872 by brewer Jovan Cofman was originally intended to house his offices and represent his brand of beer. As the brewer grew richer, his beer, still served, became very successful, the premises were transformed into his palace, a beautiful villa with a spectacular garden and park.
This two-story building was later used as a shopping mall, with stores rented by the wealthy German entrepreneur. Today it is a museum for the brand.
