This synagogue with its rounded shapes and surprising colors - salmon pink and ochre yellow - is worth a visit, since its reopening in 2018. Built in 1902 by Marcel Komora, this giant cake-shaped building incorporates several innovations. First, its size: rarely had a synagogue been built so high; the use of domes was also a novelty, as were the oyster-shell windows and the roofs mixing Oriental and Austrian styles. Before it was a synagogue, the building served as the Jewish town hall.
