The site has been the object of a substantial investment and today it represents a real center for visits and research in the middle of nature, in the very heart of the Đerdap National Park.
It is now protected by an innovatively designed glass and steel structure. A small adjoining museum displays artifacts and statues found at the Lepenski Vir site. Visitors can take an interactive tour, activating virtual 3D sculptures on computers.
