The big hotel of the city, with 330 rooms, is located on the banks of the Danube. Its terrace and restaurant are very pleasant, but the rooms are a bit old-fashioned. In fact, it is a classic hotel from the communist era which has been renovated a lot since then and which offers a good quality/price ratio. Through the hotel, excursions and trips are organized: Fetislam fortress, Roman sites, national park, visit of the power plant and boat trips on the Danube from the hotel. Not to mention possible escapades in neighboring Romania.
