GARE FERROVIAIRE
Kragujevac railway station is managed by Železnice Srbije, Serbia's national railroad company. Located in Kragujevac, it is part of a 4,093 km rail network, 1,279 km of which is electrified. As far as international connections are concerned, trains to neighboring countries are sporadic or non-existent. For example, there are no trains to Hungary, North Macedonia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina or Romania. Domestic links have been severely curtailed, with the closure of several sections of line. However, there are still connections between Belgrade and towns such as Jagodina, Niš, Vršac, Užice, Šabac, Novi Sad and Subotica. In terms of tourism, you can visit the Šargan Eight line, which runs 15 kilometers from Mokra Gora to Šargan Vitasi. It's also possible to visit the Blue Train in Belgrade, specially designed for Marshal Tito, as well as take excursions to neighboring towns on the "Romantika" train, with old carriages pulled by a steam locomotive.
