The Konak Amidža is the only remaining building of what was once the luxurious palace of Prince Milos. It is located in the National Museum complex in the city. It is named after the court administrator, Simi Milosavljeviću, called Amidža ("Uncle"). Konak Amidža was built in 1818 in a style inspired by oriental additions, representative of the Balkans. At the time, Konak Amidža housed the men of the prince's escort, and served as a large (or even very large) guest room for visiting dignitaries in Kragujevac.
