ORAŠAC MEMORIAL PARK
Six kilometers north of Aranđelovac is the memorial park of the first Serbian uprising. Two hundred years later, the site, a symbol of the creation of the modern Serbian state, was adorned with a fountain with three marble plaques that read "It was at this place that on February 15, 1804, the first Serbian uprising began." in 1954. Thirty years earlier, a school was also built here. A small museum completes the arrangement in a very well laid out site in a pleasant valley. From Aranđelovac, take buses to Mladenovac and Belgrade.
