It is the main jewel of Trstenik. Located on the river of the same name and 4 km from the town, it houses the tomb of Princess Milica who, according to legend, had her first meeting with Prince Lazar in Ljubostinja, where books were copied and miniatures painted. It was here that the nun Jefimia made the Ode to Prince Lazar, woven in silk. This work is now kept in St. Petersburg, Russia. The monastery also houses the Obrenović residence; combining wood and thatch, it confirms the Serbian-Moravian style.
