SVETA TROJICA CHURCH
This beautiful little church, built on a commission from Prince Obrenović in 1824, is typical of the neo-Baroque style in vogue at the time and has a beautiful iconostasis from the late 19th century. It was commissioned as a result of a dream that the prince allegedly had while staying in the previous wooden church on this site during his revolt against the Ottomans. An obvious symbolism permeates the place because, in front of it, on the square, a Soviet tank with the red star in full view. It reminds passers-by of the time of the fight against the Nazis.
