In a shady park, taking north from the pedestrian street Omladinska, is a beautiful looking wooden house. Built in 1831 by Vasa Popović, the brother of Princess Obrenović, it represents one of the few examples of Serbian residential architecture from the early 19th century. Beautiful inlays above the first floor doors and a low, wide roof, it is now the headquarters of an Orthodox religious foundation, and you can freely visit its woodcarving workshops on the first floor.
