THE MUSLIM CITY
Go there and contact
Of the Turkish fortress, which stretched on the hill overlooking the city, there is not much left. The Alem Džamija mosque is worth a visit. It is located on a square where there is also a picturesque house from the early twentieth century. Finally, in the central square, you will see a caravanserai with four buildings distributed on the sides of a large courtyard. On the side of the fortress, don't miss the typical old Muslim quarter, with its wooden houses without floor. The atmosphere of the Baščaršija district of Sarajevo can be found here.
