Opened in 2000, the city's oldest cinema shows mostly Anglo-Saxon films with Albanian subtitles as well as rare local productions. The city's cinema maintains the tradition of screening films and organizing professional workshops. Its two cinemas (215 seats in total) are equipped for 2D and 3D projections. But the Kino ABC is now competing with a multiplex (www.cineplexx-ks.eu) installed in the Albi Mall, 5 km south of the city centre (six screens with 90 to 270 seats).
