Around the police station are the National Police Directorate, a detention centre, the intelligence headquarters, the headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior and, further down, in front of the Newborn monument, the headquarters of Eulex, the European Justice and Police Mission in Kosovo. This is why Luan-Haradinaj Street is known as "Police Avenue".
