La is a school of Islamic education. This complex was built in 1707. The hotel features classrooms, a teachers'room, student rooms, a caféreria, a fountain, a place of prayer and a rich library with books and manuscripts. Like many buildings, it was burned down in 1999. Its reconstruction could be achieved through the financial support of the Prince of Qatar with the help of Turkey.
