ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM
This small museum (Muzeu Etnografik, Etnografski muzej) is especially noteworthy for the Ottoman-style house that houses it. Built of wood, brick and stone, it was built in 1810 for the wealthy Albanian Muslim Sina family. The ground floor was used as a storage room, while the first floor was dedicated to living quarters. One can see a suspended cradle, typical of the region, the ingenious heating system (wood-burning stove on the bedroom side, wood-burning fireplace on the corridor side) and a hammajick (small bathroom) in some of the bedrooms.
