Peyragudes Air Club is a flying club located in Peyragudes, in the Pyrenees. It boasts an altiport unique in the Pyrenean chain, offering exceptional quality equipment in the heart of the valleys. The club offers a wide range of activities, including discovery flights, introductory flying courses, terrain training and pilot training. Club members make it a point of honour to follow the strictest noise abatement rules and to follow the most suitable trajectories to limit noise pollution. The Peyresourde-Balestas altiport is also part of the Aéro-Biodiversité program of the Fédération Française Aéronautique, which aims to identify and promote the platform's rich biodiversity. The club has a new aircraft, a DR400 Régent, perfectly suited to discovering the Pyrenees from the air. The club regularly organizes training courses, open days and other events.
