At the far left in the inner courtyard of the Nahar Hotel is this multi-cuisine vegetarian restaurant, and to the right The Garden Cafe, offering South Indian cuisine and snacks. From 12 noon to 3 p.m., excellent thalis (called meals here) from South India, Punjab and the local special thali are served. Also on the menu is a wide variety of dosas. Prices are a little higher than elsewhere, but the quality of the products is top-notch. A sure bet in the city.
