BOTANICAL GARDEN
Garden with a wide variety of plants, including types of roses, rare flowering plants and even a fossilized tree trunk
Created in 1847 by the Marquis of Tweedale, this garden features many varieties of plants, including different types of roses, rare flowering plants, eucalyptus, several very old trees and even a 20-million-year-old fossilized tree trunk. This garden is the venue for the annual Summer Festival in May. There's also a beautiful Italian flower garden. At the very top of the park is a reconstructed Toda village, consisting of a few huts. However, to find out more about this ethnic group, it's best to visit the Tribal Research Center.
