Kodanad Viewpoint (18 km south): on either side of the path to the top, there are endless views of the distant plains, tea plantations, the Moyar River, dams and green pastures.

St Catherine Waterfalls : these spectacular waterfalls are located 8 km away. The view of the falls from the Dolphin's Nose is breathtaking.

Uyilatty Falls: Formerly known as Elk Falls, these remarkable waterfalls are a great place to swim, 6 km north of the city.
