MUSEO Y CASA DE DIEGO RIVERA
Neoclassical-style house where muralist Diego Rivera was born. On display are his formative works and cubist essays.
The famous muralist Diego Rivera was born in this neoclassical house on December 8, 1886. The rooms on the first floor attempt to recreate the atmosphere of the houses of the period. But it's the rooms on the upper floors that are really worth seeing: they may disappoint the curious, but will delight specialists, since they don't contain any major works, but rather the results of his early training and studies, notably his cubist essays.
