CENTRO CULTURAL IGNACIO RAMIREZ EL NIGROMANTE
Cultural center presenting one of the frescoes of the Mexican painter David Alfaro Siqueiros, exhibition galleries around the patio
This lively and sparkling cultural centre once housed the cloister of the adjacent former convent. Better known as the Escuela de Bellas Artes, it houses one of the most important murals by Mexican painter David Alfaro Siqueiros. It alludes to the life and work of Ignacio Allende, but unfortunately it was not completely finished. The place also offers galleries for temporary exhibitions around the beautiful patio with trees on the ground floor.
