It is in this beautiful park, now beautifully furnished, that was executed Maximilian in May 1867. The emperor's family devoted a chapel to him at the top of the hill, during the réconcilaitions between Austria and Mexico in 1900. This "Bells Hill" derives its name from the special music that the stones were doing by running down its slopes. The museum is more intended for children.
