In the heart of the historical center of the city, the Art Museum of Puebla is located in the old hospital of San Pedro, a building built in 1542. The museum was founded in 2002 and is divided into 5 rooms that cover 1,000m2.

The museum also houses the collection of the State of Puebla, and also the reconstructed hospital pharmacy, which functioned for some 350 years
