The Honorary Consulate of France in Antsirabe is located within the Résidence des Hauts-Plateaux. However, please note that it is closed throughout August. The Honorary Consulate is an important relay for the Consulate General, offering support to French communities in the region. In particular, it deals with civil status issues and provides assistance in the event of difficulties encountered by French nationals. There are also other consular offices in Madagascar, including Diégo-Suarez, Fianarantsoa, Majunga, Mananjary, Nosy Be, Sambava, Tamatave, Fort-Dauphin, Morondava and Tuléar.
