We have just returned our trip to Madagascar accompanied by Malagasy Expédition Tours. We devoted 02 weeks Madagascar to travel and discover this wonderful island. Since February, we contacted this agency and request quotations from their side. We were well served since our first contact until the arrival to the airport, the answers that we received their emanating staffs are good and also our request each time. We left 4 couples, from March 25th to April 9th, 2012 in Madagascar and it was an enchanting. We started from Antananarivo, busy Main Road 7, destination Tulear (Ifaty). Our Tolo guide accompanied by José and its Rivo driver were remarkable: Perfect organisation, availability with any try, friendly, smile... etc. etc. what the us appreciate even more this wonderful island that we we recommend the future tourists... but with Tolo naturally and Malagasy Expédition Tours. We prepared and organise a trip 25 days with Malagasy Expédition Tours last August. It is a contour from North To South 4x4. As the trip to Madagascar is many adventures, we prepared since February our tour in Madagascar. We contacted not bad agency and chose finally Malagasy Expédition Tours view their efficiency in the also and their reactivity also our request. We were 03 to organise this journey, me, my wife and my cousin in Réunion. We sent account of 30% of the budget trip and they were designed to make our bookings. Everything is well for during the talks email and they have managed to adapt the tour to our request expert real! We fell to the airport, Todisoa, their guides received us at the airport 05:00 in the morning. No problem. Then we moved to Maevatanana first 4x4. Which adventure, we are very surprised by the quality of their services at a fair price. 4x4 Stays not the last shouts of the dealers but we has the first day that it is a car 4x4 which can provide all the bargain and is suitable for adventures bush. They made a wise choice for accommodation in hotels that have satisfy us very well. We continued our travel via Ankify-Nosy, Tsingy of Ankarana and Tsingy red. It St in Tsingy of Ankarana that 4x4 showed all these powers during the try the Western entrance. We also visited the Amber mountain in the North and the region of Diego to know the sugarloaf, the beach of Brought Back, the three bays...
We then took the plane and the car expected us the following day airport Tana. We moved to the South by Rn7. Past by Antsirabe, Ambositra, Fianarantsoa, train on the east coast, the Ranomafana park, Andringitra and Isalo to finish on waters of Anakao. I note the fact that it is the Tolo guide which framed us during your trip in the South and it is very professional, lovers and clever nature! We separated under the sunset from Anakao with tears with the eyes. In short, our travel with this T.O is one of our best souvenirs ever made. So I STRONGLY SUGGEST THIS SMALL STRUCTURE ALL WHAT WANT TO LEAVE FOR MADAGASCAR.
They are really professionals the destination and are very helpful and understanding. Trust and you will not be disappointed.

We prepared our travel with Malagasy Tour Expeditions. A grand tour of the South (except tar) 4 weeks (approximately 4500 miles) for 4 people from June 20th to July 20th, 2012. Email very happened. Setup contract stipulating hotels and day unfolding per day and blood down payment of 50%.
However once there!!!

Nobody at the airport, 1:00 waited
Do not bateles practically at the end of the lifetime, smooth-tread tyres, preheats, windscreen wiper dying, spoiled interior, the suite of the trip as shown as papers were not regulates etc. of them...

We asked before freshen up the point on the contract and first problems:
a large number of hotels that we chose and who had been accepted by Malagasy Expédition Tours, had been changed for others in the lower categories. It was necessary for us to chat with the representative to restore with few things close the basic list. We have to sign and sign the contract.
Then:
first day: to break the tail rotor drive (fallen onto the road! ); repair fortune to leave and stop in a garage (4:00 repair lost); where a night!
then regulator problem, then panne of alternator in a desert square, without taxi bush.... Fortunately there was network and the organisation, after discussion fortified on the telephone could send a vehicle to be taken to Manja. The repair alternator at night.
Then panne of clutch; 2 days immobilized
The rest of the trip was the same .......
We asked for several times change of vehicle able to get it, despite the fair promisess on their website

The driver never had enough money to pay the essence, hotels were not reserved, problem each time to pay, several aims to make us change category of hotel at the last time.
We have dù even advance 200,000 Ariary that we had the problem to make us refund by the driver.
We still could do all that we had provided but 2 days lost and late at the stages .....
In addition the driver did not have skills or knowledge to be presented by Malagasy Expédition Tours as also guide.
Into terminal, two days of the end car was completely 'at the end of the pebble' and the driver refused to continue. Malagasy Expéditions Tours was unable to solve the problem by sending a vehicle replacement us. In fact they gave up 4 guests!
This is our driver who come its cousin to allow us to finish our trip; it was have to pay our pocket still 200,000 Ariary for the essence expenses + rental vehicle. We always expect the refund!

In fact Malagasy ExpéditionTours does not seem to have vehicles; they sub-contract with individuals who them same sometimes under rents a vehicle!


In conclusion: FOR US AVOID THIS ORGANISATION ABSOLUTELY and TO SAY IT about various forums


On the other hand it remains us memory of an extraordinary travel, beaten entireties; a welcoming population and then however these Malagasy, what a handymen of the brilliant!

We left 5 whose 02 from 5 to 8 years and Tolo our guide was bath. The agency has to provide powerful a 4x4 and a cheerful driver/guide to us.
