JB TREKKING

We left to make a trek with JB agency Trekking in the Andringitra summer 2014. The place, its beautiful landscapes, the guide were super.

However, we WERE DISAPPOINTED JB ORGANISATION OF TREKKING and attitude of its manager. Not only, JB received us by passing a very dubious comment to us on German tourists from around fifty who left his office. " They, they are filled with money, then I make them pay a large price. You, I will make you a good prix."

The idea was to go to the massif with a taxi bush. Return had been given to 10 o'clock in the morning. 10 hours, nothing. 11 hours, similar. 12,13h, 14:00, 15:00. We therefore left 5 hours later, and the day was already rotten while we had paid a day of trekking. The last day was similar! On a 4 days trekking, we had only 2 days really distance.

JB could have paid the few remaining places to provide by taxi bush so that we can leave much earlier. With the money that we gave it, it had the paths of them!
On the contrary, we learned later that he asked his guides to pay these places " because after it is the guide that will type you tourists mécontents". I learned how many guides perceived, and compared to what we gave to JB, it was ridiculous. The guides are made well exploit.

We have friends who made trekking with JB agency also, and the carrier didn't come. Thus they did not have food for one and a half day!

And as usual, as we explained our guide, if there were a problem during the trekking, JB goes away during the return of tourists, so that it does not have to be motivated or hear the claims… In short, a good professionalism.


And finally…

Before trekking, JB had offered to us to book the taxi Fiana bush with Tulear. The next day, taxi peacefully bush is expected. And you can see arrive a 4 4x4, at the wheel a guy apparently very rich. The car was occupied by several Malagasies. I assoies instead of passenger, and I see between the driver and me, two cannons busy. You will learn ultimately that the driver is none other than the director of the region of Tulear, than it was therefore to be protected with its cannons. And especially so that it includes round its ends of the month paid already well with tourists or Malagasies in his professional car, on business trips. A possible organization thanks to the help of his buddy JB… Instead of falling into the pocket from taxi-drivers bush, our money therefore arrived in the wallet of a rich man and JB. Beautiful corruption.

In short, we travel from one year and a half, and we are patrons so that things do not occur as planned. There was no worries, but we did not appreciate the lie, dishonesty, and the small corruption of JB and its agency…

We advise you to go directly to meet the guides who are numerous in Ambalavao rather than going through this agency!
