Since 2010, Anakao Express offers a regular and daily shuttle service 7 days a week, between Tulear and Anakao. The boats (the Sambokely for up to 16 people and the Sambobe for up to 24 people) are in excellent condition and comply with European standards for safe navigation. Three fast boats equipped with two engines to European standards equipped with two engines, the pilots have the skipper's card and first aid training.
