L'Etoile de mer is an institution here, boasting a pleasant terrace and a vast indoor dining room, offering seafood specialties, as the name suggests, but not only! The restaurant also serves Indian, Malagasy and French dishes, as well as wood-fired pizzas. During the day, you can enjoy a drink or an ice cream, play billiards or connect to the Internet. Sandrine, headmistress of Les Diablotins school (600 pupils!) since the 1980s, offers a warm welcome. A good address... and cocktails!

Restaurant médiocre! Le service est peu agréable avec des serveurs hautains qui ne savent pas dire «  Bonjour » ! La gérante, une femme qui cache bien son jeu, très méchante et par-dessus tout hypocrite ! On m’a servi un plat avec un cafard mort en dessous de mon steak, faute d’une bonne vision, et de la couleur très avoisinante du cafard et du steak, j’allais avaler le cafard croyant que c’était un boût de steak ! Les plats sont non remboursables. L’odeur je n’en parles pas, il y a une forte odeur d’égout. Prix ahurissant, à s’en tordre le coût pour la qualité et le service !

Je déconseille fortement !

Très bonne surprise ce restaurant, cuisine et service tout a été bien (pizza délicieuse).

Service MÉDIOCRE même HONTEUX, depuis quand on met dehors les clients sous prétexte qu'ils veulent pas encore commander parce qu'ils attendent leur amis qui ne sont pas encore arrivés.

We had dinner here with the team and had an evening organized here as well. A gem if talking about the food and outdoor decor. When in Tulear make sure you eat here or even if you have a special event to celebrate, you will not regret it!

Grand jardin donnant sur la rue, on peut donc choisir un coin calme ou profiter du passage...Bon plats (fruits de mer), desserts sympathiques
