Completely redesigned, with a clear, airy museography, this museum presents the city up to the present day: reconstruction, of course, the 1950s and 1960s, with a wealth of period advertising, current cultural events and the 2020s. On the arts side, a tapestry by Gombault and Macée, paintings by Jean-François Millet and Corot. Temporary exhibitions are also on offer, as are guided tours: not to be missed.

Visite sensorielle de l’exposition Nils Udo vraiment bien faite, une belle découverte du lieu, de l’artiste et du personnel du musée très bienveillant à l’égard des enfants, visite accessible à tous et les explications fournies étaient très intéressantes ! Merci.

Musée conseillé par notre hôte.
Très belle découverte, et musée très bien fait. Nous en avons appris un peu plus sur cette ville que nous ne connaissions pas, en particulier la destruction quasi totale de la ville durant la seconde guerre mondiale et sa reconstruction.
