Created in 1992, the Baobab Café was picked up by Patrick, a former owner of the restaurant «Le Menabe» in 2000. A very popular address of the groups, for its beautiful tropical swimming pool and its restaurant/bar with seafood specialties. Not on the beach, but on the edge of the canal and mangrove. Prefer the most expensive rooms on the pool side, much more pleasant than those on the ground floor near the reception. All kinds of activities and excursions are offered (including bulk fishing).

J'ai apprécié cet hôtel même s'il est plus cher que les autres établissements de la ville. Cela vaut la peine de mettre le prix pour avoir une chambre à l'étage avec une très belle vue sur la piscine et la mangrove. La chambre était très bien équipée avec réfrigérateur, wifi, TV, climatisation et décoration très agréable avec éléments en bois. La cuisine était également très bonne et la piscine très bien entretenue

I stayed 1 month + 1 month and at the end of 2010 and I was fully satisfied as well with the quality of the rooms and the service, I surprised by the opinion given previously.
The restoration was very correct the few times that I dined on site, personally I prefer to eat often outside and change daily restaurant.
Now I do not stay longer in this hotel because my wife and me rented a house.

first year: very happy - so I reserved the following year for us + 2 couples of friends = very disappointing - room exigue, smells of cuisine, no view and even " meilleures" rooms became outdated - poorly maintained facilities - linen worn bath! and aren't too heavy meals also longer fine - the chef would have changed? I will not hey longer recommend this hotel - I would send the friends to rosewood - yes!
