Located in the very beautiful building of the old market, built in an Eiffel style in 1892, the Diego Alliance is very active: French and Malagasy sakalava courses, book fairs, exhibitions, concerts, cinema, various workshops, theatre. The Alliance has a mobile annex, a "culturobus" which offers free access to books, games and films. It also organizes, every year in October, the "Stritarty" urban arts festival, which takes place in the streets of Diego for 5 days. The fourth edition took place from 8 to 12 October 2019.
