Located right in the heart of the village, with fairly comfortable, clean bungalows, all with a small terrace.

In the heart of the village, the bungalows (stuck together) are quite comfortable and clean. They have a small terrace overlooking a pool. Other units, on the other side of the road, offer the same services (2nd pool, smaller) and an even better view of the bay (ask for bungalows 19 and 20, on the top floor). To be preferred out of season to have a little more peace and quiet. Bruno and Lala are very helpful; kiteboarder herself, she is full of good tips and will help you discover the best spots in the area.

Nous avons bien mangé à Casa en Falafy , table prés de la piscine. Accueil sympa. Un peu à l’écart de la plage mais c'est pas plus mal car plus tranquille.

Les chambres sont modestes mais propres. Il est préférable de prendre celles à l'étage avec vue sur la mer. Le service blanchisserie est correct, la nourriture également.

Lors d'un séjour de 2 semaines en décembre 2014, notre guide Fabrice (de l'agence Nord Evasion à Diego Suarez) nous avait mitonné un périple entre Diego et Nosy Be, avec des haltes de 2 à 3 nuits dans des lieux sauvages superbes. A Raména, nous étions logés dans 2 bungalows jumeaux, au 1er étage, avec vue sur la baie. Logement simple, mais avec un minimum de confort, le tout propre et bien tenu. Piscine à disposition pour les retours de balades. Le restaurant était situé à 100 mètres et offrait également une piscine. Nous y avons mangé d'excellentes langoustes, le service était sympa et les petits déjeuners copieux. Excellente base pour découvrir les 3 baies et la montagne des Français.

As the bungalows are on the other, dark, the beach is not next door, you did not be to sleep either.

Deplorable welcome, average cleanliness, decent meal but breakfast with quality ingredients poor (eg.: margarine!). In the rooms, " limites" and closed blocked ventilations. But when we were there, the owner was no. When the cat is not, .....
Very good location near the village and the beach, the corner is magnificent.
Avoid for long or average stay.
