The restaurant Le Buron du Fond-de-Cère in Le Lioran prepares regional specialties with good products and very well served.

This magnificent coach house has been transformed into an inn, keeping its stones, its large fireplace and its red floor tiles. Located at the foot of the ski and hiking trails, this inn offers rooms and an excellent table on the heights of the resort of Lioran. The showers are on the floor. The regional specialities are prepared as they should be, with good products and very well served. Its truffade and its local ham are renowned far and wide. Closed from April 15 to June 15 and from September 15 to December 15. Open mid-December to mid-April and mid-June to mid-September, daily, lunch and dinner. Service from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Open daily for lunch and dinner. Several 4-bed rooms available. Half-board: 53 per person. Reservations recommended. Nous avons séjourné au Buron lors de notre randonnée sur le GR400 en 8 étapes. Accueil sympathique, formule étape (chambre, diner, pdj). Rapport qualité/prix rien à redire. Chambre propre, simple mais répond aux attentes d'un randonneur (WC et Sdb à l'étage). Réservation faite par téléphone sans versement d'acompte, le propriétaire nous a fait confiance.

Venus en juin 2022 pour diner. Très bon accueil. Repas correct. Du coup nous nous renseignons pour faire un séjour en 1/2 pension avec un groupe en juin 2023. En début d'année je pose une option avec les dates précises (11 au 14/06/2023). C'était OK mais il fallait appeler à partir du 15/03 pour vraiment confirmer. Voilà. C'est fait mais on me rappelle en me disant : c'est pas possible de vous prendre, je n'avais pas tous les éléments, etc... Bien sûr, pas moyen d'avoir le patron au téléphone. J'ai rien compris. Je me retrouve avec un groupe de 12 personnes, sans hébergement. C'est honteux. Si au-moins on me donnait une raison valable. Est-ce plein alors que j'avais posé une option ? N'ont-ils pas besoin de travailler ? Résultat : fuyez car cet établissement n'est pas fiable.
