THE BELVEDERE OF THE GORGES DU CHASSEZAC
Go there and contact
A popular lookout point for climbing, set in the narrowest and wildest part of the Gorges.
The Chassezac, a tributary of the Ardèche, has carved out impressive gorges beneath the medieval village, plunging to depths of 400 meters. Although the view from the village is already splendid, it reaches new heights from the belvedere a little further north. While enthusiasts of exceptional landscapes will be seduced by this vantage point, adventurers in search of a challenge can attempt to climb the surrounding cliffs.
