AU CHEVAL BLANC
We feel very comfortable at this restaurant held for thirteen years by Marco Tranchina. A restaurant in the countryside style, bistro style, where you can enjoy the beautiful history that we tell the Italian dishes of Marco. The place is cosy in warm tones reinforced by exposed beams. And say that a long time ago, there was a post office in the old post office! The stone side facade is closed to keep this architectural heritage intact. A beautiful setting that was able to enhance the owner by enhancing walls of ochre colour and awakening the wall frescoes of alcoves dating back to 1935. Comfortably located at our bistro table, sailing on the dessert counter that awaits us at the end of the meal, we know that the pleasure of the table will be at the meeting. The table of suggestions guarantees a envolée to the Italian culinary tradition with a dose of originality. Gnocchis to the potato vitelotte on the background of castelmagno (Italian cheese) are divine! The dishes are tasty, generous and dare to marry the original ingredients. The octopus in pizza promises amazement and full smoothness. The inspiration of the Chef comes from the products of the Market, its neighbours and of course Italy which animates its heart. A passion for good cuisine, all made home (preserves, bread, desserts…) that you enjoy as an art of living Italian.
