An area of 300 m² dedicated to the great adventure of electricity, the mysteries of its production, the ingenuity of its distribution and its impact on the environment. The house highlights in an interactive and fun way the general questions that we ask on electricity: How is energy transformed into electricity, what are the different processes from the dam to your home? What is renewable energy and why is it so important? So many questions that this concrete, animated, colourful and educational exposition answers. Pavillon de l'énergie SIG is found in Verbois, an iconic place in the history of energy in Geneva, the most trusted Hydroelectric production site in the canton (with the Verbois dam and the SIG Solar 3 photovoltaic station). The guided tour offers a visit of the three sites (the Verbois dam and the SIG Solar 3).
