These falls are about 20m high and are not well known to tourists, yet they are located close to the town centre, under the Ellatota bridge on the Bandarawela - Hatton road. They are not visible from the bridge but can be seen from the main road at the sharp bend just before the bridge. The waterfall can be reached by taking the Diyathalawa road from the Colombo - Bandarawela road. Drive for about 350 meters on the Diyathalawa road and take the right hand road. Another 350 meters will take you to the falls
