Formerly the residence of the British governor, this imposing hotel offers all the amenities and comforts expected of a four-star hotel. The governor's wing is furnished with antiques, the others are more modern, but the beds are always strewn with flowers. Billiards, coffee lounge, indoor pool, proximity to the golf course... nothing is missing. Several quality restaurants, including the Grand Indian and the Grand Thai. As in other places, proper attire is required for dinners (pants and shirt for men).
