The Pidurutalagala, or Mount Pedro, at 2,524 m, is the highest point in the country. Located less than 4 km north of the city, it is no longer accessible to the public since a television relay station was installed on its summit. To make up for this "lost" destination, you can go to the top of Single Tree Hill, also equipped with a TV tower. It will take you about 25 minutes to reach the top from the temple, which will allow you to enjoy, at 2 100 m altitude, a superb panorama of Nuwara Eliya and its surroundings.

Voir ce sommet de loin est l'occasion d'une jolie balade dans les alentours de Nuwara Elya. Par temps clair , c'est bien mieux.
