CARDINAL MERCADO
Antique metal market where the city of Valparaiso sells its fruits, vegetables and seafood.
The Cardonal Market is where the city offers its fruits, vegetables and seafood. The previous building, built on the same site in 1855, was destroyed by the 1906 earthquake. In 1912, the city of Valparaiso built this market, whose metal structure was characteristic of the time. Good small premises where you can eat a quick meal at lunch, upstairs. However, the area is no longer very safe at night (the surroundings of the port in general should be avoided at nightfall).
