ASCENSOR EL PERAL
This recently renovated elevator linking the Plaza de Justicia to the Paseo Yugoslavia is now very popular with tourists.
Inaugurated in 1902 and renovated in 2016, it links Plaza de Justicia, opposite Plaza Sotomayor, to the recently renovated Paseo Yugoslavia on Cerro Alegre. In the last century, it was mainly used by the colonies of foreign immigrants who settled on the now-famous cerros of Alegre and Concepción. Now a popular tourist attraction, the short ride aboard this elevator gives you a great view of the city. You'll certainly want to take it during your stay.
