CERRO PLAYA ANCHA
A large, densely populated cerro with a growing number of tourists, hotels, cafés, restaurants, universities...
Today it is the largest and most populated cerro in the city (about a third of the inhabitants). Over the years, the cerro has been growing and welcoming more and more tourists, hotels, cafes and restaurants. Many universities have their campuses there. To enjoy a fantastic view of the bay, go to the Marina Mercante viewpoint. A visit to the cemetery of Playa Ancha is also recommended, as a "little city of the dead" who enjoy a pleasant view of the coastline in their eternal rest.
