A square in Valparaiso with an antiques fair every Sunday, selling books at low prices.
The plaza Bernardo O'Higgins is very lively on Sundays as there is an antiques fair where you can also find many books at low prices. The beautiful Teatro Municipal runs alongside the square on Uruguay Street. On the other side of the square is the Congreso Nacional building, which has housed the Senate, the Chamber of Deputies and the Library of Congress since 1990, when it was decided to abandon the old Santiago building and move the Congress into this colossal, purpose-built, arch-shaped building.
