A hill located in Valparaiso offering a splendid view of the city and Chile's Naval and Maritime Museum.

Access to the hill is via the touristy Artillería elevator - currently under indefinite repair - which normally departs from the customs office(Aduana) to reach Paseo 21 de Mayo, one of Valpo's most popular tourist destinations. However, although the view of the city from the cerro is splendid, and the Chilean Naval and Maritime Museum (formerly the Naval Academy) is located there, it is not advisable to walk to the cerro via the only small street leading up to it. It's best to hire a cab to get there.

Situé à l'extrémité de la ville et au dessus de la partie animée du port, ce quartier n'a pas encore connu le développement touristique sauf sur la promontoire au pied de son ascenseur.Il possède quand même de belles maisons en bois dont la fameuse maison bleue et une descente piétonne avec de beaux muraux.

Cerros are of course the living heart of Valparaiso. You can walk through them strolling, taking from time to time a lift. They all have their character and their characteristics and, some, their monuments.
Attention some are poorer and going up on the heights of Valparaiso, you will also find the poverty and less sour corners to avoid.
